Johnston County 2014 Parade of Homes begins April 12th

April is here, and it’s time for Johnston County’s 2014 Parade of Homes. The Parade of Homes is a great way to showcase area builders by offering a month-long open house that offers prospective buyers the opportunity to look at homes from different price points, styles, and location. This year, our Parade entry is located at lot 51 in Portofino, subdvision in Clayton, NC.

Our Parade home this year features some of the newest trends in the building and design industry. Starting with an open floor plan that offers a downstairs Master suite as well as a flex room that could be used for a Study or additional downstairs guest bedroom. The Upstairs includes spacious Bedrooms with with walk-in closets plus, bonus room, and lots of storage plus room to grow with a 2000 s.f unfinished basement that gives families lots of options. The home includes stylish contemporary elements including a tiled fireplace, custom trim work, and stylish details in the chrome hardware, plumbing, and lighting fixtures. The Master suite features decorative ceilings, clawfoot tub and beautiful tile work. But it’s the kitchen that is the focal point with the stylish custom cabinetry featuring deep pot-and-pan drawers, pullout shelving, and a “rev-a-shelf” pantry system. The backsplash adds a contemporary twist from the traditional white subway tile by changing the color to a rich gray color and elongated the shape to a 3×12 textured finish that creates a dramatic backdrop for the gorgeous calcutta countertops.

We invite you to visit our 2014 Parade entry during the open house dates and times:
April 12-13, 19-20, & 26-27 from 12pm-5pm.
